Useful things to send: corrections to any page (say which page and what is wrong), a browser or app where an instruction did not work (say the browser and version), and anything you know about a shared highlight page listed in the archive.
We cannot recover old highlights or saved pages from the original service; that data no longer exists. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored content, link placements or product placements, and we do not reply to requests for them.
Reporting a broken instruction. The most useful report names the page, the step that failed, the browser and its version (usually under Help, then About), and the device. If a highlight link did not open where you expected, paste the link itself into your message: the words after #:~:text= show exactly what the browser was asked to find, and most failures can be diagnosed from them in a minute. Our guide to why highlight links stop working covers the common causes if you want to try first.
Corrections. Factual corrections are made on the page as soon as they are confirmed, and the reviewed line at the foot of the page is updated. If you point out a mistake in a study page, a source for the correct version helps; we check it against the original research before changing anything. We do not remove accurate information because a product owner would prefer it phrased differently.
Teachers and librarians. If you use the site with a class and something would make it more useful, such as a printable version of an activity from the teacher activities page or a guide for a device your students use, say so. Many of the guides exist because someone asked.
What we will not ask for. We will never ask you for a password, a payment or personal details by email, and the site has no accounts to log in to. If you receive a message claiming to be from this site that asks for any of those, it is not from us. Our privacy policy explains what the site does and does not collect.
