Terms of Use
The service. awesomehighlighter.com provides free information and free browser-based tools for highlighting and linking to text on web pages. Use of the site and tools is subject to these terms.
No warranty. The tools and content are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Browser behaviour changes; a link that highlights today may not highlight after a page or browser update. We check instructions regularly but cannot guarantee they are current for every browser and version.
Your use of the tools. The tools build links to pages you choose. You are responsible for the pages you link to and for how you use the links. Do not use the tools to misrepresent what a page says; a highlight link points at text as published, and quoting that text remains subject to the normal rules on quotation and copyright in your country.
The bookmarklet. The bookmarklet runs code in your browser on pages you visit. Its code is published on the bookmarklet page. You install and run it at your own discretion. It stores nothing and sends nothing; if you modify it, you are responsible for the result.
Content. The text and illustrations on this site are the property of the site owner. You may quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link. You may link to any page, including with highlight links. You may not republish whole pages.
Third-party products. Products named on the site belong to their owners. Descriptions are editorial opinion and factual summary at the time of writing; verify current features and terms with the product before relying on them.
Study and educational content. Guidance about learning is general educational information, not medical, psychological or professional advice.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or tools.
Changes. These terms may be updated; the reviewed date on the page shows the current version.
